Air Canada Tangos with Travellers: Addressing the Air Canada Issue. A Summit meeting and rally in Toronto, Canada among all travel industry participants to examine the wide-ranging negative impacts of Air Canada’s (AC) recent decision to pull its low-fare Tango inventory from the global distribution systems (GDSs) and other distribution channels.
CAPSULE
In the middle of the night on 2 May, without warning, AC removed Tango fares from GDSs and AC’s travel agent website. Now, various organizations representing travel agents and corporate travel managers and representative constituents are joining together to call on Air Canada to reverse its anti-consumer actions.
